"Michael helped us buy our dream home last year and then sell our previous home, both in Portland. He was simply amazing. We initially were working with another REALTOR to find a home to buy. But after growing frustrated that they were just not listening to what we wanted and showing us houses that just were not quite right, we met Michael when he was showing a house and were blown away by his knowledge of many more homes that were exactly what we wanted. We contacted him directly and asked him to help us and we changed to REALTOR immediately. Additionally, Michael could think outside the box and walk us through different options of possibly buying a lot and building, or other more creative options. Ultimately he found a home for sale for us that was exactly what we wanted and in our price range. But this was after much leg work by him to pursue other options to get us what we wanted. Michael then helped us sell our previous home, which turned out to be much harder than expected. We listed just as the market slowed. Michael helped us get in touch with very affordable contractors to make the upgrades we needed to sell the house. He was intimately involved with those tasks, no matter how menial or simple. He had his finger on the pulse of the operation at all times. We would have been lost without him helping us make some big improvements to the house at far less than I ever thought possible. Ultimately he was able to find a buyer for a much better price than we had resigned ourselves to after struggling in a difficult market. He followed through on the sale for us and probably didn't make much money on the sale in the end. But he was always upbeat about things while still being realistic. It was a true testament to his character. I also want to mention how kind, friendly and genuine Michael is. Our toddler daughter immediately took a liking to him. He simply is a fun person to be around! But regardless of his personality, his professionalism and hard work were unparalleled. He was extremely responsive and would reply to us on evenings and weekends, after verifying if this was ok with us. I did not expect that kind of attentiveness and service. Especially from a guy who is very successful at what he does and must be quite busy. He always made us feel like we were his only clients with the way he worked for us and responded to our questions. I can't recommend Michael strongly enough. You are missing the boat if you are working with another REALTOR. He knows his stuff. This might be the first review I've ever really written. But I felt compelled to write this long review as a token of my thanks to him."

We met by chance I passed a home for sale that intrigued me, and while I was standing outside, leaving a message for the listed broker and texting with my partner, he stepped outside after giving other clients a tour and offered to let me take a look. I appreciated his kindness and willingness to hang around a while and while that house didn't work out for us, I had no doubt I wanted to work with Michael for finding the house that would! He was very responsive throughout the whole process, including helping negotiate through repairs and a midstream mortgage lender switch and being readily available for questions and advice. He also connected us with someone who could help do some remodeling in our new place and helped coordinate that. All in all, he has made this whole process so easy for us! I can't recommend him highly enough. He was a pleasure to work with kind, responsive, competent, and motivated. I'm sure I'll be posting another positive review after we sell our old home through him, too."

Michael has the patience of a saint as well as the construction knowledge to keep up with my husband and to be able to help us think through options with each home. We worked with Michael for at least a year and made offers on a couple of homes along the way before we found the one. Michael is amazing with paperwork and DocuSign and all those fussy parts about buying a house. But the best part about Michael is how easy he is to be with and to talk to. Buying a home these days is an arduous process and it's nice to enjoy the company of whoever you are working with.
